Through initiatives like the Fortifying Community Truth Project, she advances locally grounded verification skills, builds resilient networks, and supports groundbreaking community-led investigations and audiovisual archives that expose human rights abuses. With a commitment to feminist leadership, collaboration, and the protection of civic space, Nkem works closely with partners across the continent to ensure that communities most affected by injustice are at the center of documenting their realities, shaping the narratives and policies that define them.
