Macoy Dubs

Mark Averilla, famously known as Macoy Dubs on social media, is a Filipino comedian, content creator and actor who first became popular on social media thanks to his comedic shorts and his hilarious persona “Aunt Julie”. His ever-witty and charismatic personality has made him a certified social media superstar and a highly sought-after host and endorser. Recently, he has also become known for his car-centric content.

His partnership with Probe began in 2021, making him the first content creator to collaborate with Probe’s factchecking campaign in a series where he portrayed his famous character, Aunt Julie, for Tsek/Eks to debunk disinformation. In 2023, he once again joined the IMS What’s the Tea campaign in a show titled Designated Driver as host. In this series, he took viewers on road trips through Metro Manila, exploring current issues with subject matter experts in the passenger seat.

From inflation to charter change and the 2025 elections, each episode offered insightful, on-the-go discussions that provided fresh perspectives on pressing national matters.
