Esben Q. Harboe

Esben Q. Harboe is a leader in international media development and governance, currently serving as Regional Director for Africa at IMS (International Media Support) in Denmark. With over two decades of experience, Esben has led strategic initiatives across Africa, Asia, and globally, focusing on humanitarian, development, and peace-building programs. Esben has overseen large, decentralized teams and managed complex projects in very different environments. Previously, Esben held senior advisory roles with the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the United Nations and in the private sector. A trained journalist from Danish School of Journalism and Media (DMJX), Esben also holds an Executive Master in Public Administration from the London School of Economics and a Master in African Studies from the University of Copenhagen.
