Jen Aquino

Jen Aquino is a Filipino journalist with over 15 years of experience in news, factual storytelling and factchecking. She began her career at Probe, the award-winning production company where she trained in documentary making, filming and editing. From 2013 to 2016, Jen served as Senior Producer at CNN Philippines, leading daily newscasts and international features. Now back at ‘home’ in Probe, Jen currently manages operations and strategic partnerships, where she has driven initiatives that blend investigative storytelling and use of archival materials with digital innovation. Under her leadership, Probe launched a factchecking campaign with content creators and became a signatory of the International Fact-Checking Network (IFCN) in 2023 – underscoring its commitment to truth and journalistic integrity.
